About the event
Ever look at a space and think what grows well here? Then think what's edible here? Come to this class to look at various habitats; Fields, low lands, high lands, extremely disturbed land, open areas, and canopied forests. Find the answer to what will I find here to eat throughout the year! This Class will be spent all out doors. Please be prepared for the weather. Check the weather before you come and wear appropriate cloths... or less of them if it will be hot! It's Arkansas folks! But plan on wearing boots. We will be walking up slopes with leaves and rocks, there will be vines with spines and prickles aka "thorns". Also there will be an option to visit sites that will require driving near the later portion of class. Feel free to take this time to leave if you have information overload and come back another time. Also, please be so kind as to offer to drive or ride with others to these last locations as we do want to keep our Carbon emissions lower and have a reduced impact on the city of Mountainburg. And with the boring part over, let's learn some cool plants!
