About the event

This event is about tapping trees that allow their cambium to slip and therefore extract sap that can be boiled down into syrup. Syrup is delicious and also a sustainable and healthy way to add sweetness to your food. Syrup, unlike processed sugar, has trace amounts of calcium, magnesium, potasium, Zinc and Vitamin B1. But it also has 40% of your vitamin B2 and 50% of your Manganese. So, just a little healthier than pure sugar which has none of these. Come and learn how to get that sweetness you've been passing nearly every block or stream you pass in your car.
